Fellowship for All Ages

There are a variety of ways to get to the know the people of Annunciation better, but none are more fun than our fellowship opportunities.

Foyer Groups

Twice a year people sign up to participate in Foyer Groups. This is purely a social event. Approximately 8 people get together once a month for 4 months to share a meal, and conversation. Prior to each new round anyone interested may join, and everyone is reshuffled into new groups. This is a great way to get to know people, welcome new people, and meet people who perhaps attend a different service than the one you attend.

Outrageously Mature Group

This ministry is designed for members over the age of 55. It will provide opportunities for fellowship, fun, faith, education and service-based projects. Outings and adventures will be arranged to venues such as museums, music, drama, and sports events.  There will also be monthly (except during Lent and Advent) Brown Bag Luncheon/Lectures on various topics including Art, Health, Music, Faith, and Science. Transportation to the meetings and special events will be provided for those who need it. Quarterly potluck dinners will be held in the Parish Hall on the last Saturday of the months of January, April, July, and October. Contact Bonnie Refo, or call/text 817-291-2115.

When you first walk through the doors of our church, you will know you are welcome. Our hospitality team provides coffee and snacks in the Welcome Center before and after services. It is a wonderful place to take a moment to reconnect with people you haven't seen or share stories with those you may not know in a relaxed setting.

Annunciation Book Club

The Annunciation Book Club meets on the first Tuesday every month in the Welcome Center at 6:30 p.m. to discuss a previously agreed upon book. The books are both fiction and non-fiction, and from a wide variety of authors and genres. All ages are welcome, and nursery care is provided free of charge.
