A ministry for Annunciation members over the age of 55 that provides opportunities for fellowship, fun, faith, education, and service-based projects. Outings and adventures will be arranged to venues such as museums, music, drama, and sports events.
Transportation to the meetings and special events will be provided for those who need it. Quarterly potluck dinners will be held in the Parish Hall.
To welcome our neighbors to worship, members of the congregation deliver a small gift and information about Annunciation to our first time guests.
The Order of the Daughters of the King® (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism. They have made a commitment to Jesus as their Savior, and follow Him as Lord of their lives. They are an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches in the Historic Episcopate. DOK meets the third Thursday of the month at 7pm.
The Gad Abouts support various ministries, both inside and outside of the church, with bake sales and craft sales. We make handmade baby blankets to welcome newborns into our church family. The Gads make cloth bags for PediPlace to be filled with items needed for newborns. We host receptions for funerals and other special events. We also sponsor the Ladies’ English Tea on the first Sunday in December. Join us in the Oratory Chapel on Thursdays from 10:30am - 1pm.
This group is open to anyone wishing to enjoy company while working on a sewing or stitching project. Our group includes both church members and non-members. Just bring whatever project you have in the works or start something new. Sometimes we don’t get much stitching done, but it is always a great time! The Sew ’n Sews meet in the Parish Hall from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month.
The men of the congregation have offered their time and talent to host quarterly pancake breakfasts for all who would like to participate.
Every other Tuesday, men of the congregation meet at noon for study, prayer and fellowship. It is a brown bag lunch with coffee and water provided. All men of the congregation are welcome to attend.
Occasionally, the men will gather for fellowship opportunities such as sporting events, golf outings or cookouts.
