Our Nursery is available during the 8:30am
and 11:00am Services, as well as during
the Sunday School hour from 9:45am to
10:45am. Infants
through age 3 are welcome! Please mark all
diaper bags and belongings!
Children's
Sermon is offered at the 8:30am Service
Our 8:30am worship includes a Children's
Sermon every week in the Oratory Chapel.
Children ages 3-8 are invited to join the
Processional after the Gospel Readings to
receive an age appropriate sermon while
adults receive a sermon in the Nave.
Children's sermons will be given by our
clergy, and will include children's
versions of the Nicene Creed, Prayers of
the People, Confession and Music.

through Third grade will learn Bible
Lessons through Leader Resources "Workshop
Cycles"

Sunday School. Children will be presented
the same Bible Lesson each week for three
to four weeks, and approach the lesson
differently each time. Through Music, Art,
Drama, Cooking and Storytelling, we are
very excited to offer children this
innovative approach to the
children. Fourth and Fifth Graders use the
GRAPPLE curriculum from Group Publishing,
specifically designed for this pre-teen
age group. The 4th/5th grade class meets
in their own classroom upstairs next to

Children's Chapel is offered at the
11:00am Service
Children ages three through six receive a
blessing in the Sanctuary at the beginning
of the 11:00am service, then follow
teachers to the Oratory Chapel for a
children's Lesson and Liturgy that mirrors
the service in the Sanctuary. Annunciation
uses the Catechism of The Good Shepherd in
Children's Chapel.
First Communion
Classroom instruction for
youth to learn about receiving the
sacrament of Holy Communion. First
Communion Classes are offered to families
each Fall and Spring. For more

Annunciation's VBS
2008 - June 9-13, 2008
Every summer for one week Annunciation
offers Vacation Bible School for ages 3
through 5th grade. In
2008, Annunciation VBS will be offered
June 9-13, from 9am to 12noon each day.
The cost per child is $20.00 and includes
a cool VBS t-shirt, snacks, crafts and
more! VBS is
operated by Church Staff and volunteers
made up of Annunciation church members and Montessori
Episcopal School parent
volunteers.
VBS Registration
takes place in mid April each year. VBS
for 2008 will be POWER LAB by Group
Publishing. For
