Need prayer? We can pray for you! Annunciation has two powerful ways we can support you in prayer. One is through our Sunday Prayer List. Your prayer request can be added to our weekly Prayer List by calling Monica Campbell at (972) 221-3531, or you can e-mail Monica Campbell your prayer request. We also have a confidential prayer list that is known only to our Daughters of the King, who commit to praying every day for the names they receive. If you would like your request to remain confidential, please call the Daughters of the King prayer line at (214) 499-4072.
Lay Eucharistic Visitors bring the reserve sacrament and communion to members of Annunciation who are homebound for some reason and cannot attend Sunday worship service. We strive to keep God’s presence in the lives of all our parishioners by bringing communion to them at least once a month.
Angel Meals are designed to help those individuals or families that for one reason or another are unable to cook a meal for themselves. For instance, coming home from a stay in the hospital or after surgery, a death in the family when you may have out of town guests and don't have time to prepare a meal, or for any other reason. We are always looking for ladies (or gentlemen) who would be willing to participate in this ministry and you would only be called as needed so it may only be once or twice a year, or once every few months, depending on the need.
This is a ministry comprised of well-trained, caring individuals who care for people experiencing short-term crisis, such as divorce, job loss, terminal illness, hospitalization or other challenges life presents. Men are matched with men, and women are matched with women. The average length of time for these caregiving relationships is 6 weeks.
This ministry has been established to meet the needs of the homebound individuals within our congregation. It is important for these people to feel connected to the life of our congregation and that can be accomplished by weekly visits or phone calls. Most of these visits will be in nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities, but some will be within homes.
